Thinker Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 13, 2026
Thinker helps you turn videos and podcasts into learning modules, review prompts, and progress insights. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information We Collect
- Account information, including your Sign in with Apple identifier, email address when Apple provides it, and optional name details.
- Learning content you add, such as public video or podcast links, transcripts, generated summaries, saved concepts, review cards, quiz answers, and learning progress.
- App activity needed to provide the product, such as streaks, completions, scores, timestamps, and basic server logs used for reliability and security.
- Apple purchase metadata needed to verify Thinker Pro access, including product identifiers, transaction identifiers, subscription status, renewal state, expiration or grace-period dates, and an account-linking token. Thinker does not receive or store your payment-card details.
How We Use Information
- To create and personalize learning modules, summaries, quizzes, review cards, and spaced repetition.
- To authenticate your account, sync your library, save your progress, and support account deletion.
- To maintain, secure, debug, and improve Thinker.
Third-Party Processing
Thinker may send the learning content you choose to add, along with related context, to service providers that power authentication, hosting, transcript extraction, embeddings, and AI-generated learning content. Apple processes App Store purchases and sends Thinker signed transaction and subscription-status information. These providers process data so the app can function.
Tracking and Sale of Data
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising tracking.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account and learning data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app settings, which permanently removes your account and saved learning data from Thinker. To prevent subscription fraud and support restoration after deletion, Thinker retains a minimal detached Apple transaction record without your Thinker user relationship. Deleting a Thinker account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
